I am a mother to a beautiful one year old little girl named Lydia, who was my inspiration to become a Nurse. I have many goals when it comes to my future nursing career and I look forward to obtaining my diploma and growing from experiences. The most important piece of advice I have acquired is to listen to your client, nobody knows your client as well as they know themselves.
Vivian Ranger : My name is Vivian Ranger I’m 18 years old and I’m a Practical Nursing student attending Northern College of applied Art and Technology. I live in a small town. I’m extremely interested in Mental illness. I hope to achieve my goals of becoming a Nurse, its hard work but it will all pay off in the end. I enjoy Visual and Dramatic arts. What I’ve learned the most is that everyone see’s the world in there own way, they have different views and opinions, and of course everyone has different experiences. Trying to understand and putting your self in there position, taking a step out of your comfort zone could be the hardest thing you could every do, being a student nurse or a nurse will challenge everything.

I have family and friends who suffer from mental illnesses, so this course has given me some insight into these illnesses.Abnormal Psychology is a very intersting course and I have learned alot throughout this semester. I have learned alot from all my courses this semester, and I hope to continue doing well throughout this 2 year program. I eventually want to be an RN, so this program is a stepping stone for me.
